Established in 2020, the Project Dance Company has fast become recognised for its ground-breaking original works, trailblazing creativity and unique ability to transcend understanding of what a dance company can achieve.
Across both the youth and professional sectors, the Project Dance Company creates poignant, socially motivated, new stories which aim to connect with everyone.

Our Works
Growing Pains
Growing Pains movingly tells interweaving stories about love, loss, youth, hope and the redemptive power of art. The production first premiered at The Exchange, Sturminster Newton in August 2022, and later embarked on a national tour the following year.
Fragments
An intimate small scale dance experience which literalises the vulnerability, anxiety and helplessness of falling in love. Fragments first premiered in Brimpsfield in January 2023 and since has been programmed across rural touring schemes across the south of England.
Collective
An evening of music and dance showcasing talent from across the south of England, Collective is a specially curated one-night-only event in aid of the Octagon Theatre Redevelopment and Project Dance’s Young Dancer Bursary Fund.
Catalyst
The work of 4 emerging choreographers, CATALYST was the Project Dance Company’s first programme of professional dance works. It was voted Best Overall Act at The Shaftesbury Fringe festival in 2021.
Untamed
Back by popular demand, in July 2022 The Project Dance Company returned to the Shaftesbury Fringe, offering a mixed bill which included hip hop, ballet, jazz and contemporary dance.
