An unmissable story performed to live music

“An exciting, sad, thoughtful, provocative, engaging and joyous dance theatre work.”

This August, the award-winning Project Dance returns with its fourth touring production in four years, as it continues to prove itself as a powerhouse production company that simply won’t stop. Things I’ve Never Said is a life-affirming and theatrically pioneering new work set to an original, world-class live score.

As seen on the BBC, Project Dance has cemented its reputation as one of the UK’s most exciting and accessible dance companies. Their latest work is a deeply moving exploration of the secrets we carry and the words we leave unspoken. Alongside the production, the company is launching a powerful public campaign inviting people to share their own “things they’ve never said,” creating a space for honesty, reflection and connection. Anyone can visit tins.projectdance.org.uk to get involved.

James Bamford, Project Dance’s Director, who founded the organisation 8 years ago when he was just 14, said:

“It’s never easy to describe how it feels to be developing and presenting a new show, it is without doubt the most magical, inspiring yet live-engulfing process. Now in our 4th consecutive year of presenting an original production annually, Things I’ve Never Said stands apart for its ambition; a new, compelling and nuanced narrative, underscored by a live band on stage, which we hope will prove to be a unique and emotive experience for audiences.”

Blending an earnest new story by James Bamford and Grace Noelle, breathtaking choreography, and with powerful live music by Charles Harrison, Things I’ve Never Said promises a truly immersive theatrical experience for audiences of all ages. With Project Dance’s signature fusion of emotional storytelling and striking physicality, this show shines a light on the shared human experience – reminding us that everybody has a story.

“Boy will audiences be blown away by Charles Harrison’s passionate mix of rhythmic, soulful and often delicate music that skilfully and effectively propels the dance

– Ivor Novello award winning composer Richard G. Mitchell (BUSK)

Following three nationally celebrated acclaimed productions, Project Dance has built a nationwide following for its ability to create bold, original work that speaks to both seasoned theatre-goers and first-time audiences alike. This new tour continues that legacy, offering an unforgettable evening of dance theatre at its most honest and thought provoking.
