Project Dance is an arts organisation based in the south of England which works to broaden dance’s accessibility to society at large. Both through its engagement work which aims to provide opportunities for people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds to experience the benefit of dancing themselves, and through the creation of original, socially motivated work, the organisation’s ultimate ambition is to break down the barriers which prevent the artform from being shared openly with the masses.
Project Dance has two distinct branches: Project Dance Community and The Project Dance Company, which work simultaneously to achieve the company’s goals. Unapologetically youth led, Project Dance is run by a team of passionate young people who value the importance art has on society and are united by a love for the universal language of dance.
